Gather Your Support Squad

Connecting with other women leaders is one of the most nourishing things we can do for ourselves and the growth of our companies.

Here’s a peek at my January business planning retreat for #SheBuildsCollective—a holistic Support Squad that includes strategic mentorship, mindset coaching, and a mastermind community.

But you may be thinking, “I don't have time to step away from business responsibilities,” which can hold us back from taking our businesses to the next level.

I was on a call with one of my clients, and she reflected on her experience at the retreat and said, “Don’t let me forget that I need to be in that room.”

As women who are holding and doing it all, it can feel like we have so much to leave behind at work. The guilt creeps in, we question if this is a waste of time, and wonder if our teams are judging us for leaving them to work while we “get away.”

But leaving your day-to-day responsibilities gives your team confidence, allows your family to miss you (and see how much you do), and you return with a fresh perspective on what to do next.

The theme of January’s retreat was: SACRED PAUSE. It was a reminder to slow down, celebrate the past year, and recalibrate our whole selves.

When we take the time to not work “in” our businesses and instead work “on” our businesses AND ourselves, we walk away with clarity and feel more energized.

I love creating SAFE spaces for business owners to reset their visions and plans. The magical connections + wisdom exchanged inspire me. I attract the most generous, creative, and FUN people. There is no performance, hierarchy, or anyone taking up all the oxygen in the room.

Join us for the next one. Being in the room makes all the difference.
