You deserve to

love your life

Fueling your inner fire

I’ve been a boundary ninja in the first quarter of the year.

I had a promotion I was getting ready to put a lot of time and creation energy into because every year I do it, I never do it BIG. And I always see that as untapped earnings potential.

I even spent my hot seat and my 1:1 coaching call mapping out all the ideas and plans just last week with my coach and mastermind group.

Then this week, I revisited my quarterly plan and reconnected to my vision, and I got really clear about my bandwidth. I knew I needed to ease off this promotion. The energy and excitement to do the work wasn’t there because it would take me away from my book.

In saying no I felt like I was letting my team and my coach down. I felt like I was being lazy.

But now I realize it’s me being super clear about…

  • what I want
  • what I need to make it happen, and
  • what energy and time it’s going to take from me to do this work well

I’m really loving the time I have to take care of my health, unplug with my family and write my book. I have to be willing to say no to anything that compromises these priorities.

Are you willing to be patient enough and consistent enough to do the work that lights your soul on fire?

If you know it’s time to pursue your dreams even when you see no clear path on how to achieve them, then episode 146 of the Lead with Love podcast is for you.

In this episode, I get cozy with my friend John Lee Dumas.
