What I’m noticing as this new season begins, for us
I’m slowly finding my rhythm again after the stillness of winter. The mornings here in Northern California have that soft in-between feeling.
Flowers are beginning to bloom, the air is still cool, and everything feels like it’s gently waking up.
The seasons often mirror our lives and businesses. Some moments feel heavy and uncertain. Others hint at growth beneath the surface.
It's also an intense and tender time globally, as we continue to show up to lead our businesses, support our communities, and care for the people we love.
Last week, I hosted a 3-day retreat for the women in the She Builds Collective in beautiful Carmel, California. And this flower went from a bud to full bloom during our retreat.

On our first morning, we lit two candles and held a moment of silence. One candle honored the grief, fear, and uncertainty many of us feel about the injustice happening in the world.
The second candle represented the light within us, our commitment to keep building, replenishing, and leading with love.
We can hold both. The outrage and the hope.
As business owners, community builders, and humans who care deeply, it can feel heavy to hold it all alone. That’s why gathering in person matters more than ever. Not to escape what is happening, but to root ourselves in our collective courage as we move forward together.
More than ever, I believe conscious women leaders need spaces that feel grounded and honest. When we gather in person, something shifts. We remember that we don’t have to build in isolation. We collaborate instead of competing. We expand our capacity to lead and create meaningful impact.

Three days by the ocean brought clarity and nourishment. One collective member shared this after returning home:
“It’s hard to describe the impact that these retreats have on me. I always come away so full. I grounded in the critical tasks that will propel my business forward in the short term and also came away with an outline of my thought leadership framework.
Before the retreat, I felt like there was a lot to do, but I wasn’t clear on how to prioritize things or what it was all adding up to. I’m leaving the retreat feeling clearer, motivated, and deeply supported and encouraged on my entrepreneurship journey. I would not be here without you and without this group.”
This is why we gather. To reconnect with our vision and move forward resourced for what lies ahead.
If you feel called to build alongside other thoughtful, successful women entrepreneurs, I invite you to apply for She Builds Collective. Our next in-person retreat is April 29 to May 1, 2026. You do not have to build alone.

Join us in person next month!
Another way to gather with us is through the Sacred Business Circle. If you’ve been craving connection, grounding, and a space to grow your business without losing yourself in the process, we would love to welcome you in March.
Our February Circle is sold out! And we’re now welcoming women into our March 13th gathering here in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Sacred Business Circle is for women who want to grow sustainably while staying connected to themselves and each other. During our 2 hours together, you’ll experience:
- A collaborative local community with like-minded entrepreneurs
- An intimate circle designed for meaningful conversations
- Guided space for reflection so you can hear your own inner wisdom
In times like these, choosing community is a powerful act of leadership. When we slow down long enough to listen, support one another, and remember what truly matters, we create the kind of ripple effect the world needs right now
To building with love.
Warm hugs,
