You deserve to

love your life

the year everything fell apart

I still can’t believe that we only have 4 weeks left in 2025.

This time of year has me deeply reflective on what I’ve learned and built in the last 16 years as an entrepreneur.

I want to share a moment from my own journey.

During the last big economic downturn, my business fell apart. My car broke down. My family moved into our business, and my daughter slept in a room that doubled as a storage closet.

Eventually, I had to shut everything down and move in with my in-laws.

I felt ashamed. I felt lost. I wondered if I was even cut out for entrepreneurship.

But I also knew I wasn’t done.

With $42K in debt, I rebuilt my business and my life.

And this time, I promised myself I would not abandon my health, my creativity, or my loved ones.

That promise changed everything.

I built 2 profitable businesses in different industries, published 2 books with Big 5 publishing houses, and traveled to over 20 countries with my family.

Reflection became my intentional reset. I was able to acknowledge both my celebrations and my losses with reverence.

It helped me rebuild with clarity.

Because sometimes we’re a startup and sometimes we’re a re-startup.

It’s why I host gatherings like this one. To remember our resilience.
