What to expect
- We’ll spend the first 30 minutes creating meaningful connections and grabbing drinks + light bites in a welcoming space.
- Then, at 6:30 pm, you’ll hear from women who’ve navigated the ups and downs of entrepreneurship and emerged stronger with valuable lessons and insights.
- At 7:30 pm, we’ll take a group photo, followed by time to continue the inspiring conversations with the other women entrepreneurs.
- Leave the event energized with fresh ideas for your business.

Hi! My name is Jadah Sellner (Jadah rhymes with Prada).
When the 2009 recession hit, my business crumbled, my car broke down, and my family had to move into our business space, turning our storage closet into our daughter’s bedroom.
I had to shut down my business, move in with my in-laws, and start over from scratch.
Back then, I didn’t have a community of other women entrepreneurs to lean on, but I learned fast how important it is to surround yourself with people who truly understand the ups and downs of building a business.
When I rebuilt, I knew I had to do things differently—putting family, joy, and community first. I realized I couldn’t thrive in isolation.
With 15+ years of entrepreneurial experience—building brick-and-mortar and online businesses, I know what it takes to start, shut down, sell, and scale a business.
I’ve seen firsthand that the key to sustainable growth is not doing it alone. Surrounding yourself with other like-minded women entrepreneurs gives you the strength, inspiration, and clarity to keep going.
That’s why I created She Builds Community—a space for women entrepreneurs, creatives, and leaders to come together, connect, and support each other.
